Hard rock maple and steel in the round in the city council chambers Spokane Washington. it call Evolution By Monsanto. it have a black walnut playing a steel flute. It has 200 hundred pounds of sliver lead. The hard rock and black hardwood was done by Hank Chiappetta and the metal was the creation of Rick Davis who is one the best metal sculptor in the northwest the only person I new who could do this .this piece. was all original , and it was inspired by the lead that is in lake in Coeur d'AleneI Idaho that flow down in the lake from Wallace and Kellogg Idaho . There are huge piles that are sprayed with water that is next to Coeur d'Alene river. The miners who still dig for gold and dig for sliver wash their diggings in Idaho creeks and ponds. Spokane river is a water source for Spokane . They have commercials that warn people if they swim or play in the creeks and rivers and lakes in Idaho to wash off or use a towel to clean themselves off from the contaminated waters. The Coeur d'AleneI Idaho Flows the all way down into Columbia River and then the ocean
Black walnut end table sculpture in the round . This was a log it rolled off truck in front of us as we were driving in the snow. I stopped pick it up let dry is was my third table.
